Recipe for 1 litre

A general pick-me-up for sore throats, mouth ulcers and when you’re feeling generally rundown.

You will need:

10 sage leaves

1 teaspoon grated lemon rind

1 stevia leaf (or a pinch of storebought ground stevia)

honey

Method:

Warm your teapot with a little boiling water. Let the rest of the water cool for a few minutes (to approximately 80 degrees)

Place the stevia, sage and lemon rind in the teapot and fill it with hot water. Let the tea steep for 4-5 minutes before pouring. Only add honey to your cup once the tea has cooled to a comfortable drinking temperature. This way, the honey retains all its healing properties.
